At the meeting with Singaporean ambassador Ms. Catherine Wong Siow Ping, President Tran Dai Quang appreciated activities of the ambassador since she was appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Singapore to Vietnam.
The Singaporean Embassy and ambassador played an important role in linking and deepening the strategical partnership ties between the two countries, stressed the leader.
In order to keep up with regional issues and development of science and technology, both sides needed to strengthen further collaboration on base of new thoughts and creations.

On the same day, Egypt’s ambassador Youssef Kamal Boutros Hana visited and bid farewell to President Tran Dai Quang after he finished the working term.
At the reception, President Tran Dai Quang appraised contributions of the Egyptian ambassador in boosting the friendship and multifaceted cooperation ties between the two countries, especially the first visit of the Egyptian President to Vietnam since the two countries established the diplomatic ties.
Additionally, President Tran Dai Quang hoped that the two countries would continue strengthening cooperation and investment in the fields of politics, economy, trade and culture in the upcoming time.
