Low-cost airline VietJetAir transport apricot and peach blossoms for the upcoming lunar New Year Festival (Tet) on domestic flights from January 15-February 20.

Transportation fee costs VND450,000/bunch , not including VAT. The carrier transports a maximum of 30 branches of apricot and cherry blossoms on each flight.
Meanwhile national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and low-cost airline Jetstar Pacific will offer this special service from January 15-February 14. Two Vietnamese airlines will collect VND35,000-450,000, not including VAT, for a branch of cherry blossoms.
A passenger will be allowed to check in with 1-2 branches of apricot or peach blossoms, measuring maximum 150 x 40 x 40 (Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet) and 120cm x 50cm x 50cm (Jetstar Pacific) as a special ‘Luggage Consignment Service’.
Passengers must register to transport apricot and peach blossoms at least 3 hours before departure time. The service can be booked at airlines’ websites, ticket offices and agencies nationwide.
