Chinese Consulate General Visits Chinese-Vietnamese for Tet

Ms. Gao Te Ke , Chinese Consulate General to Ho Chi Minh City, visited the homes of disadvantaged Chinese families in the Cho Lon (China Town) area of District 5 on Thursday morning to offer best wishes to them for the New Year.

A charity walk to raise funds for disadvantaged Chinese-Vietnamese people

Ms. Ke, along with authorities from the HCMC Fatherland Front Committee and the HCMC Union of Friendship Organizations, presented some 60 gifts to the residents there.
Together, the agencies recently organized a charity walk event to raise funds for the poor.
The campaign’s organizing board have received some VND150 million from the event’s sponsors to help disadvantaged Chinese-Vietnamese people have a happy Tet holiday.
