Canadian food festival to take place in Hanoi

A month-long Canadian Food Festival will take place in Hanoi from November 15 as part of activities to mark the 40th anniversary of Canada-Vietnam diplomatic ties, Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam David Devine said on November 11.

The festival will feature special food from Canada, including beef and seafood such as lobster, oysters, scallops, snow crabs, cod, salmon, halibut and mussels, while Canadian wines and spirits and Ambrosia apples will also be introduced at the event.

The festivities will be launched at the Seafood Express restaurant at the Royal City shopping mall on November 14. Canadian chef Cameron Stauch will attend the event as a guest.
