Two miners were killed after a water pipe broke at the Coal Exploiting Company 86 in the northern province of Quang Ninh early Tuesday.
Injured miners are brought out of the entrance
Luckily, the rescue team found ten miners trapped by the cave-in after 10 hours’ searching.
The dead miners were Phan Tien Thuc, 26, and Pham Dinh Chien 29. On the same day, their bodies were brought to their home province of Thai Binh also in the north for burial.
A company representative said that the water bust site was about 1,000 meters away from the entrance, and that the cave-in was caused by an underground mine illegal miners have left for years.
