National volunteer awards launched in 2017

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and United Nation Volunteer yesterday launched the national volunteer awards 2017

The program aims to give individuasl and organizations, volunteers who have devoted and gained excellent achievements in their mission for the community contributing to build the country.
Secretary of the Communist Youth Union Nguyen Phi Long said that the program is also to honor and give prizes to 10 organizations and 10 persons that achieved successes in the task for Vietnam’s sustainable development.
The organizers will receive nominees’ document from October 3 to 31. The public can vote for their favorite volunteer through the website www.giaithuongtinhnguyen.vn starting on November 5 to 20.
The awards ceremony is planned to be held on December 3 in Hanoi to mark the International Volunteer Day which falls on December 5 and the national volunteer festival.
