Foreign Company Busted for Use of Pirated Software

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has carried out an inspection concerning the implementation of copyright regulations on copyright at Full Power Company in Binh Duong Province and found the company was using copyrighted software programs without permission.

As many as 58 computers of the company, located in Song Than II Industrial Park, were running unlicensed software. Two host computers had Windows Server, five copies of Symantec antivirus, five copies of Autodesk software programs, four copies of Autocad, seven copies of Adobe Photoshop, and five copies of ACD System.
Full Power Co., which is managed by Bai Shou Chuan, was ordered to stop using unlicensed copyright programs immediately. The programs in question are estimated to be worth billions of dong.
