City traffic police revoke nearly 20,000 driver’s licenses in three peak months

During three peak months of deploying inspection and handling of traffic order and safety violations, the traffic police forces of Ho Chi Minh City detected, handled 73,559 violations, revoked 19,738 driver’s licenses and temporarily seized 10,783 vehicles.

The Road-Railway Traffic Police Department (PC08) under the Ho Chi Minh City Public Security reported on September 29 that in the period from June 20 to September 20, the number of traffic accidents, death and injured people in HCMC dropped. 

At that time, the city recorded 472 road traffic accidents, killing 156 people and injuring 304 others.
