Visitors to electronic centers like De Nhat Phan Khang, Thien Hoa and Nguyen Kim were rebounded.
A Thien Hoa electronic center's representative said the center saw an increase of 50 percent of visitors, most of them paid attention to medium-priced products.
At Cho Lon center in District 5, hundreds of customers bought items with discounts of about 50 percent.
Meanwhile, the number of shoppers to Big C, Co-op Mart and Maximark supermarkets also rose up to 40-50 percent.
In Ho Chi Minh City a sale off season is often held in September and retailers offer attractive discounts. This is one of the reasons why consumers flocked to shoping centers in several days ago.
