HCMC leaders visit senior people, Vietnamese heroic mothers

On the occasion of the Vietnam Day of Older Persons (on June 6 ), Ho Chi Minh City leaders visited and gifted senior citizens in the city on May 30.
Nguyen Thien Nhan, Politburo member, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Secretary of the Party Committee of HCMC, visited 90 year old Vietnamese heroic mother Do Thi Chon and 90 year old  Tran Van Chang, father of a martyr in Nam Thoi village in Thoi Tam Thon Commune in Hoc Mon District.
On behalf of HCMC leaders, Mr. Nhan wished the two seniors to be healthy and good examples for children.

On the same day, a delegation led by tat Thanh Cang, Deputy Standing Secretary of Party Committee congratulated 90-year-old people in Binh Chanh District. At the house of Vietnamese heroic mother  Tran Thi Du who is mother of two martyrs, Mr. Cang warmly spoke to her wishing her to be healthy.

The delegation also gave present to Mother Huynh Thi Gio in Tan Kien Commune whose son Nguyen Van Na sacrificed in the wartime.
