The project's goal is to simplify administrative process and suggest special policies for intellectuals and experts.
Overseas Vietnamese can suggest changes in the Government’s policies to create favorable conditions for them to do business in the country.
According to Mr. Nguyen Chon Trung, chairman of the committee, 140,000 overseas Vietnamese are expected to welcome the Lunar New Year in Viet Nam. The number is 40 per cent higher than last year.
In a related development, more than 100 young members of Tan Son Nhat Airport staff, border policemen, customs officials and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth League started on Tuesday a program assisting passengers at the airport in Ho Chi Minh City, who come for the Lunar New Year holidays in mid-February.
From January 9 to March 12, young volunteers will be present at the airport to assist the travelers.
