The course, the first of its kind in the city, will update Vietnam’s regulations and professional skills in the field of medicine.
Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Health Dr. Tang Chi Thuong said that in the past time, Chinese physicians of some clinics in the city have fallen foul of treatment regulations.
Subsequently, the health authorities opened the short training course to provide them knowledge of treatment regulations as well as procedures issued by the Ministry.
A Chinese physician will receive 48 hour training course of law and professional knowledge delivered by their peers in Binh Dan hospital, Ear-Nose-Throat hospital and Tu Du Maternity Hospital.
Dr. Thuong said that organizing the training course, city health authorities want to standardize teams of Chinese doctors who are providing examination and treatment to patients hoping there will be better changes in private medical clinics.
Simultaneously, the Department will enhance supervision in clinics where Chinese doctors are practicing. Once detected punishment, inspectors will impose severe penalties and propose to revoke these violating doctors.
As per schedule, the Department will continue organizing more training courses for Chinese physicians to update knowledge of regulations and professional procedures of examination and training to all foreign doctors.
