Exhibition on late Emperor Duy Tan opens in Thua Thien Hue Province

A photo and book exhibition titled ‘Life and Journey of Emperor Duy Tan’ opened on August 15 at An Lang (Duc Duc Royal Tomb) in Thua Thien Hue Province on occasion of the 113th birth anniversary of late Emperor Duy Tan.

Late Emperor Duy Tan took over the reigns from his father Emperor Thanh Thai and reigned for nine years between 1907 and 1916.
 
The exhibition introduces viewers to the life and time of Emperor Duy Tan. Although the reign of Emperor Duy Tan was not long, many historical events and wars took place during his time. 

The exhibition displays 24 books and photographs that will interest viewers on the life of the young emperor.

All books were edited carefully by Nguyen Phuoc Bao Vang who is the third son of Emperor Duy Tan.

The exhibition is the research work of Nguyen Phuoc Bao Vang who has compiled it over a period of many years.

The exhibition was attended by leaders of Thua Thien Hue province, representatives of relating departments, units and people.
