Vietnam has seven universities in URAP’s list

It is an honor when Vietnam has seven universities in the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP’s list of top universities in the world).

The URAP has been annually releasing by the World Ranking of Higher Education Institutions.
For the academic year 2018-2019, the URAP has ranked 2,500 good universities in the world. In the world rank, the US’ Harvard University came the first in the list, Canada’s Toronto University ranked second and England’s Oxford University at third and the US’s Stanford University at fourth in the list.
The Vietnam National University in Hanoi has been ranked 1,211; Ton Duc Thang University at 1,422; the Technology University in Hanoi stood at 1,549. The Vietnam National University in HCMC, the Medicine University in Hanoi, the Medicine University in Can Tho City and Pedagogy University in Hanoi.
According to the URAP, the Vietnam National University in HCMC and Ton Duc Thang University have been ranked above the US’s New Orleans University or a university of the Philippines.
University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) Research Laboratory was established at Informatics Institute of Middle East Technical University in 2009. Main objective of the URAP is to develop a ranking system for the world universities based on academic performances which determined by quality and quantity of scholarly publications.
