Party Secretary in Binh Phuoc province’ Bu Dop District Ho Ba Toan yesterday said fifth grader Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi in Tan Thanh A Primary School returned jewelry worth VND20 million ($857.3) which she picked up in the school gate on May 3.
After picking up the gold, the little girl was quick to tell her family, the school manager and local authorities to find the gold owner. The local authorities have found the owner of the gold – a woman who sell lucky lottery.
The little girl was honored at the school’s flag raising ceremony.
