Vietnam-Japan Cultural Space opens in Hoian

Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe have had a special meeting at Hoi An Ancien City.

Yesterday, PM Phuc and PM Shinzo Abe toured around Hoian City after they joined in a ribbon cutting ceremony at Vietnam-Japan Cultural Space which is taking place at Hoai River Square in Hoian City of the central province of Quang Nam.

At the ceremony, Chairman of Quang Nam People’s Committee Dinh Van Thu said the event includes many activities featuring the two countries’ traditional & folk cultural values and aims to promote and strengthen the two countries’ long time relationships.

Cultural performances, exhibitions, folk games and other sport activities will also be held during the event.

On this occasion, PM Phuc introduced Hoian’s culture, sightseeing & characteristics and spirit of local people to his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe, adding that Hoian has been known as a must-see destination in Vietnam because it has still preserved and promoted its original culture values.
