Photo, clip competition launched to manifest love for country

On the occasion of  70th anniversary of National Day (September 2) and upcoming 61st anniversary celebration of  Hanoi Liberation Day (on October 10), the Hanoi Culture Fund under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has launched a photo and clip competition titled “ Me and my country”.

The competition aims to manifest the love for the country’s beautiful spots. Every people of different nationalities who are living in the Southeast Asian can submit their entries to the organizer. 

Nguyen Khac Loi, deputy director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that there is no limited time of the photos of entries; however, the organizer will check the scene in the entries through candidates’ description and stories attached to the entries.

Entries are in the two forms of photos or clips. Entries can be taken many different beautiful places in the country focusing the landscape of the beautiful places and image of candidates. Entries will be submitted through internet.

Each candidate can send a maximum of 5 entries with title and description of the places. Clips should be under the form of Avi, Mp4 formats and 480 p input with the resolution of 16:9, 4:3, 1:1; and aspect of square pixels and they can be taken by cell phones or cameras.

Participants can register at or Hanoi Culture Fund at 77 hang Bo Street in Hoan Kiem District in Hanoi starting on September 15 to October 8. The award ceremony will take place on October 10.

There will be a special prize, 3 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 10 encourage prizes which receive many likes, shares and comments in facebook most. Prizes include cash, gifts and certificates from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
