The Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO) will perform a Vietnamese tragedy, “Trong Thuy – My Chau,” on May 9 at the Saigon Opera House.

The first half of the performance will be presented by the HBSO Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Tran Vuong Thach.
The audience will be treated with pieces from the opera Siegfried: Forest Murmurs by Wagner and Symphony No.8 by Beethoven.
The second half will be performed by HBOS ballet dancers, retelling a tragic love story set in ancient Vietnam between Princess My Chau and Trong Thuy, a man from a northern neighboring country.
The performance opens at 8pm. Tickets are on sale at the Saigon Opera House Box Office: VND200,000 (US$11) – VND150,000 ($9).
