Phu Nu ( Woman ) Publishing House has declared “Giant festive” from December 21 to 23 in its stores and websites. The program will be inclusive of sales of books at same price of VND5,000; VND10,000; VND20,000; VND30,000 and VND50,000.
Apart from that, the house will offer discount of 40 percent for new interesting books such as Nhan chung cuoi cung (Last witness), Anh da tro ve ( You return at last) and Ba dai su ( Ambassadress).
Meanwhile, Thai Ha Book Company also notified program “Coming to Thai Ha to bring book home” from December 22 to 25 for festive season in bookstores in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and the company’s website . In its notification, buyers will enjoy discount of 40 percent and gifts.
Unlike previous years, from December 15 to 31, Kim Dong Publishing House also publicized promotion program of 30 percent to 50 percent for online purchase and on its bookstores from December 20 to January 2, 2019.
Alpha Book Company organized program “Book storm – Last storm fans knowledge” in Youth Cultural Palace at 3 Pham Ngoc Thach Street in District 1 from December 19 to 26.
According to the program, there will be 79,999 new books to lower price by 30 percent – 50 percent while more than 9,999 books at price of VND9,000 - VND50,000.
The program will include business books, books about skill, children books and literature books of publishing houses like Song, Omega+, ETS...
Before, Tre Publishing House also organized a two-day old book fair in the publishing house’ yard with more than 1,000 books in five years with discount of 50 percent. One different thing in the year is targeting at charity groups and organizations with interesting treatment.
Tre Publishing House will sell package pricing at VND1 million, VND3 million and VND5 million with discount of 50 percent plus other various promotion programs. For charity organizations, the publishing house will give additional bookshelf.
A book company in Hanoi also announced to sell year-end book sales in Hanoi and HCMC with commitment no illegally printed books in the fair.
Moreover, the company will weigh one kilogram of book ( with 3 - 6 books a kilogram) pricing at VND49,000. The company said that there will be 1,000 tons of books in the program with various books like literature books including short stories, novels, love stories, booking books and science books.
In addition to discount of 30 percent – 60 percent and books at same price of VND5,000; VND10,000 and VND20,000, Alpha Book Company in the central province of Nghe An will also sell books by kilogram in the program from December 20 to 27.
Different from other companies, prices of books are at VND88,000 per kilogram. Before, the company had had a book fair in the northern province of Thanh Hoa in four days from December 18 to 23 with 200,000 books with discount of 30 percent – 60 percent and 100,000 books at VND5,000; VND10,000; and VND20,000.
