Vietnam Airlines becomes major transport service provider for German

The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines signed a cooperation agreement to become the major transport service provider for the Hessen administration of Germany and the World University Service (WUS) on routes from Germany to all destinations that the carrier operates.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Minister of Science and Arts of the Hessen State Boris Rhein and other members of the Parliament.
Minister Rhein and a delegation of the Parliament then travelled to Vietnam for the 10th founding anniversary of the Vietnam-Germany University in Binh Duong province on September 9.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh, General Consul of Vietnam in Frankfrut said that the coopeartion between Vietnam Airlines and Hessen State and WUS affirmed the international partners’ trust in the airline’s service quality and professionalism as well as contributed to increase the prestige and position of Vietnam Airlines in European market.
The State of Hessen is a state in west-central Germany. Hessen has an area of over 21,000 sq.km, 6.1 million inhabitants and the most developed economy. Hessen state is divided into 21 districts and five independent cities. The largest city is Frankfurt. Ist is home of many historical and cultural sites.
WUS is an international and political organization operating in more than 50 countries around the world. It plays a role in connecting and organizing all activities of the Hessen state government in Vietnam and is a founding member of Vietnam-Germany University.
