Seafood price slightly increases after typhoon

Prices of seafood including red tilapia, snake head fish and prawn slightly increased by VND10,000-15,000 a kilogram because of supply reduction in HCMC markets on November 26, a day after typhoon Usagi made landfall in southern Vietnam.

According to Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper report, cattle meat, poultry and eggs prices remained unchanged.
Co.opMart supermarket chain reported purchasing power rebound on November 26. Best-selling commodities comprised instant noodle, cooking oil, dried vermicelli, fish sauce, spices and sausages and lean pork paste.
