Most medium and small Vietnamese companies believe that the growth rate of domestic economy this year will be as high as last year or even higher, according to a survey of service, finance and companies by the bank HSBC announced Wednesday.
Fifty-five percent of the companies taking part in the survey believe that the amount of trade exchanged with China will go up while 32 percent of them think that the amount will be the same as last year.
As for trade with other Asian countries, 57 percent of the companies think that the amount will go up while 35 percent believe the amount will remain the same as last year.
The companies are also optimistic about trade with other countries in the world. Forty-nine percent believe that such trade will rise and 38 percent believe it will stay about the same.
