Specifically, the companies from fields such as plastic recycling, garment dying, sports clothing, urban architecture planning and design, industrial wastewater and biogas treatment want to cooperate with Vietnam not only in traditional fields such as climate change and agriculture but also in port management, technology development, startup, aviation, marine economics and traffic infrastructure.
Statistics show that the Netherlands is not only the largest trade partner of Vietnam in Europe but also the top European investor in Vietnam with investment capital topping $8 billion annually.
The Netherlands is the first nation establishing strategic partnership relations in fields with Vietnam. Fields under cooperation include climate change adaptation, water management; and sustainable agriculture and food security.
