Of which, only four bids were opened for projects across the sections of the National Highway 45 - Nghi Son, Nha Trang - Cam Lam, Cam Lam - Vinh Hao and Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet.
The section of National Highway 45 - Nghi Son has total length of 43 kilometers and investment capital of VND 6,333 billion (US$ 273 million) (in which the state supports VND 2,003 billion (US$ 86.3 million) which received five foreign investors, including three Chinese investors, one Korean investor and one Joint-Venture French investor.
Meanwhile, eight investors registered the section across Nha Trang – Cao Lam including four private and joint-venture investors, two Vietnam- China joint-venture investors and two Chinese investors.
The section has its total length of 50 kilometers with the total investment of VND 7,615 billion (US$ 328.2 million), in which the state support VND 5,058 billion (US$ 218 million).
Regarding to the section Cao Lam – Vinh Hao, there have been two local investors, one Vietnam- China joint-venture investor, two Chinese investors and one Korean investor. This section has its total length of 79 kilometers with its total capital of VND 13,687 billion (US$ 590 million), in which the state support VND 9,311 (US$ 401 million)billion.
There are five investors being interested in the section across Vinh Hao – Phan Thiet with total length of 101 kilometers and investment capital of VND 11,603 (US$ 500.5 million), in which the state support VND 3,884 billion (US$ 168 million).
The investors included two local investors, two Vietnam- China joint-venture investors, one Chinese investor.
In general, these projects lured 28 foreign investors, 9 joint-venture of Vietnam and China investors and 14 local investors.
According to the Ministry of Transport, the section of Phan Thiet – Dau Giay is the last component project of North-South expressway which is scheduled to open bids on the upcoming July 13, 2019.
The section has its total length of 99 kilometers with the total investment of more than VND 14,359 billion (US$ 619.2 million), in which the state support more than VND 2,480 billion (US$ 107 million).
